When I walk through my 'backyard' Midden-Delfland, my camera is always with me. I often hear birds before I see them. It is then just peering into the trees or tracking through the reeds, waiting for something to move.
During a walk through the Vockestaert, between Delft and Schiedam, I spotted my first goldfinch - a moment like that you don't forget. I also saw the Bluethroat and my favourite, the Bearded Warbler several times there and even captured them with my lens.
This artwork is based on one such photo of a Bearded Warbler, combined with an abstract, flowing background. Using MidJourney, I processed it further, resulting in a painterly image of this beautiful bird. The warm colours give the atmosphere of an early morning, while cooler tones recall winter walks.
Whether you are a nature lover or just love beautiful colours, this work is a real eye-catcher in your interior. It brings a piece of nature inside.
Inside the realm of dreams, every stroke unfolds a saga of the ages.
