The eagle owl hunts all kinds of birds such as black crows, magpies, rooks, jackdaws, jays, wood pigeons, rock doves, all (slower) birds of prey, all owl species and ducks. Besides birds, the eagle owl also hunts mice, rats, hares, rabbits, hedgehogs, young pheasants, mustelids and young foxes.
