This photo was taken near Obdam/Spierdijk. In April, many bulb fields are in bloom here. We also see a beautiful Dutch sky with stacked clouds with blue sky in between. The outbuildings also make the background of this photo successful. In the foreground are tulips with some pink and red. Behind it, another field whose tulips have yet to bloom. The border with tulips close to the mill are red.
The mill is a seesaw mill of which you do not see many in North Holland anymore. It is also a working mill. We are looking west here and the sun shines from behind, rendering the colours beautifully. In short, this is a pure Dutch landscape.
The village of Obdam is in North Holland and thus part of West Friesland. The landscape is characterised by vast farmlands, ditches and roads.
Al sinds mijn tienertijd is fotografie mijn passie. Ik heb zelfs nog een tijd een donkere kamer gehad.
