About ‘Flower child Nandu’ by Sandra Kolondam

A curious rhea looks directly at the viewer – crowned with a delicate wreath of daisies and wild grasses. Its expressive gaze and slightly crooked facial expression lend the motif a special liveliness and a touch of humour.

The fine details in the plumage meet the lightness of the flowers, creating a harmonious interplay between naturalness and playfulness. The warm earth tones of the background emphasise the gentle character of the motif and allow the floral accents to shine. This work was inspired by the idea of giving animals an almost human expression – charming, idiosyncratic and full of personality. The flower wreath acts as a tongue-in-cheek accessory and gives the proud bird a poetic touch. As a wall mural, this motif brings a warm, friendly atmosphere to the room. It fits particularly well in nature-inspired, modern or boho interiors and is also a wonderful gift for animal lovers with a sense of humour.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
