For as long as I can remember, brushes and paints have been part of my life. Nature, animals and close observation of the world are my central themes. As the daughter of a Munich native and an Indonesian, I grew up between Bavarian tradition and Far Eastern ornamentation – a mixture that continues to shape my visual language to this day.
In my work, I depict animals not only as portraits, but as characters in floral compositions or poetic scenes. Sometimes humorous, sometimes calm, sometimes colourful – always with a loving eye for flora and fauna.
I work freelance in my studio near Landshut. My painting moves between realistic representation and modern, lively imagery – driven by curiosity, cultural diversity and the joy of storytelling with colour.
