About ‘Flower girl’ by Kelly Driedijk

This artwork depicts the fine line between vulnerability and strength. The monochrome portrait is largely covered by a large, soft-pink flower that lies over the face like a protective veil. Only one eye remains visible, immediately capturing the viewer’s attention. That single gaze tells a story of curiosity, resilience and the courage to reveal oneself, despite everything. The subtle shades of pink form a powerful contrast with the black lines and shades of grey, making the flower a symbol of both beauty and hidden emotions. The loose strands of hair and refined linework give the work a dreamlike, almost ethereal quality, whilst the expressive details lend it depth. The artwork invites interpretation: is the woman hidden behind the flower, or is she emerging from it? The result is an image that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also touches on themes such as identity, growth, vulnerability and inner strength.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
