About the artwork
High-quality reproduction of a handmade photographic lumen print in soft tones. Botanical elements in pink and purple in a hint of light.
Made with experimental analogue photographic process: a lumen print. I placed a flower and various grasses and plumes on analogue black and white photographic paper. This paper was then exposed in the sun and developed in water. As a result, colours appear in soft tones, which seem to have been burnt into the paper by the sun. The unique handmade specimen is unfixed and vulnerable to sunlight. On Werk aan de Muur you can now order a reproduction in the size and quality that appeals to you most.
