About ‘Fluff’ by Ria van Kints

This is a painting executed in the technique of acrylic pouring. To be more specific, it is a Dutch pour. A technique in which acrylic paint is blown out with a hair dryer. As a background, I had chosen a blue/gray color. In addition, I had chosen blue, black and white to pour on the base layer. Mixing the colors created new shades, which blended together nicely.
When I looked at the work later, it reminded me of the fluffy bulb of a dandelion. That is the association it evoked in me. Other people saw something completely different in it.
In terms of color I am very satisfied with this work, which measures 30x30 cm. I think the colors go well together. I like blue very much myself, in all shades. It is calm, cooling, and can also be very expressive.

I started painting in 1996. Mostly in the anthroposophical way, which means wet on wet, and transparent painting. Over the years I have alternated painting with, among other things, soapstone and working with fabrics. Recently I discovered acrylic casting. With this technique, which in turn is divided into different techniques, you can make the most beautiful creations. "Painting is magic with paint".

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
