A group of short-beaked guillemots migrates across Tryghamma Bay past Alkhornet Mountain. Alkhornet is a mountain on the west coast of Svalbard, at the inlet of the Isfjorden near Trygghamna Bay.
Short-billed guillemots - also known as thick-billed guillemots.- are seabirds and live in relatively cold temperatures.
The photo was taken during an expedition trip on sailing ship S/V Northern Lights to Spitsbergen (Svalbard, Norway).
