Portugal's Atlantic coastline is picturesquely beautiful and invites you to take long walks and enjoy the overwhelming nature.
On sunny and warm days, sandy beaches are the place to be and numerous water sports can be enjoyed in the seawater at the edge of the coast. During more turbulent days with winds from the Atlantic Ocean and cloud-draped skies in many shades of blue and grey, walking on the edges of the continent is a great way to spend the day enjoying the overwhelming nature there. The vistas of the ocean, the wind's battle with water and land at the edge of the surf. At the thin water edges of the skipping waves, the battle of wind and water is visible and some of the teal sea water blows through the air in fine droplets. On the beach, just above the sand, a thin, semi-transparent layer of sand grains forms, drifting and chasing just above the covering layer of sand that is just a little wet due to the sea wind droplets and therefore a little darker drawn as in the drier state of the sand that lies beneath it again.
Walking here with the wind in your hair and enjoying the elements is a great experience. Through camera then capturing this atmosphere and later enjoying those wonderful moments is a wonderful bonus while walking along the coastal strip. These are then often lively images with the power of nature, but also calm images in soft natural tones and tones that often fit well as images on the wall in an atmospheric interior.
