About ‘Foggy morning at Kinderdijk’ by Gerard Stasse Fotografie

I can enjoy the early mornings at Kinderdijk. I live around the corner there myself, so it is a wonderful location for me to go to.

I made this picture on a beautiful, atmospheric morning where I stood enjoying the sunrise. Sometimes I stand there watching and listening in such wonder that I almost forget to press the shutter to take the picture.

For me, this work exudes peace and space. When I look at this picture, I go back to that morning, that morning where I thoroughly enjoyed the awakening of the day.
