Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Forest walk in the morning’ by Peet de Rouw

Anyone who ever walks in a forest will recognise the spots where a puddle remains after a heavy rain. If you are not wearing boots, it is better to walk around it. In this work, the forest is waking up and the morning sun is dispelling the mist that still hangs in some places.
The landscape and setting were created in my imagination and made visible with a text-to-image programme. In this, you describe what you want to make with keywords and descriptions of the situation. The programme, which runs on artificial intelligence, consults the internet for impressions and then creates an image. You can enrich or further digitally "paint" this raw image until you are satisfied. With this image, you have a landscape that doesn't really exist but has been created with imagination and artificial intelligence. While creating this work, I had the Veluwe and my memories of it in mind. With this work on your wall, you will have something special and unique to enjoy.
