In a quiet corner of the forest stood an old mushroom, firmly rooted among fallen leaves and fresh green moss. On top sat a small forest fly, which had just landed after a short flight through the damp air. She brushed her paws, as if getting ready for a long afternoon of looking around and looking for food. The forest rustled softly around her, and apart from the rustle of a nearby mouse, it was quiet. For the fly, this mushroom was just a lookout today - but for the toadstool, it was already another small piece of life that it was allowed to carry for a while.
