"Fragile impermanence: Lantern with abstract reflection" is a still life of a simple lantern of the Lantern plant. This lantern has already lost much of its orange "skin" and is slowly decaying.
Because the skin has partially decayed, the beautiful vein structure of this lantern is very nice to see. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see it even better.
The background of this still life is very special. I used a material that has a structure similar to leather, but also to the structure of the veins. Because this material has been given a silver reflective surface, the lantern reflects in the ground surface.
This reflection is not a tight reflection, but because of the structure, this reflection is broken, creating an abstract modern reflection.
A simple peaceful scene, containing many beautiful details.
This photo could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the bedroom, dining room or simply above the sofa! (Of course also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!)
