About "Fragile togetherness: vulnerable and fragile but still so happy together"

About the artwork

"Fragile togetherness: fragile and brittle but still so happy together" is a still life of two lanterns of the lantern plant (Physalis). These lanterns are from the same plant, but both at different stages of decay. The left lantern still has its orange "skin" and it is almost intact but dried by the sun, so the veins are beautifully visible. The right-hand lantern, on the other hand, has almost completely lost its orange "skin" and all that remains is the beautiful vein structure, together with the orange berry and stem. This vein structure is warm in colour and looks almost golden. If you zoom in on this photo, you can see this clearly. You can then also see that a not-so-big depth of field was chosen when taking this photo. I chose this to get a sense of depth in the photo.
The background of this still life is of a mirrored material which has a texture in it. This gives a nice effect, breaking up the mirror image and giving it something picturesque.
This photo can be beautifully hung as wall decoration in, for example, the bedroom, waiting room or simply above the couch in the living room!
