The artwork exudes a deeply introspective and almost ethereal atmosphere. Five female faces are caught in an organic structure that resembles a web of membranes, like a natural cocoon surrounding them. The faces resemble each other but are not identical, evoking a sense of both unity and diversity. Each face is subtly different in expression and angle, which may indicate different emotions, stages of life or aspects of human identity. The facial expressions are calm, sometimes even melancholic, suggesting reflection, distance or quiet contemplation.
