I did not want to 'freeze the dynamics of a gull flying by'by a short exposure time. To still be able to work with a long shutter speed without using a grey filter, I went out when there was hardly any light. It was mid-November, it had snowed a bit, and there was a strong wind. That produced this image, which shows not only movement but also the freedom of a bird. This picture was taken on the beach at Castricum aan Zee.
