The Gasterse Duinen consist of an undulating heath landscape. Rugged drifting dunes and picturesque fens largely determine the appearance of the terrain. The fens in the area were once part of the course of the Drentsche Aa stream. Therefore, the fens are an extension of each other. In days gone by, the course was partially plugged up, leaving two large fens. The fens are now known as the Voorste and Achterste fen.
Since 4 years, I have been photographing landscapes, insects, animals and discovering new objects that catch my attention every time. I am always curious about different ways and viewpoints to make my photos unique.
