The Geiranger Fjord is located in the county of Møre og Romsdal, in Norway. It especially is a popular mooring place for cruise ships, often there are several ships at the same time in the fjord.
The photo was made on the northeast side of the fjord, at the Ørnesvingen observation point at the end of the Ørnevegen (Eagle Road). From this point, 620 meters above sea level, you can descend via 11 hairpin bends and get to the fjord.
Since 2005 the fjord is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
