The Günterfelsen forest and rocks are mystical and impressive in the Schwarzwald-Baar nature reserve near Furtwangen. It has been proven that they were not created by human hands and are a remnant of prehistoric times. The granite boulders, some of which are largely covered in moss, cover an area of 1.7 hectares and are a special and astonishing sight for photographers, Westweg hikers, walkers and the very young. Location: Between Schönwald and Simonswald, north of the Brendturm. The walk from the Brend hiking car park to the rocks is flat, easy and very pleasant.
