About "Girl in the forest"

About the artwork

This is one of Ilona's first works. She started with a painted canvas. Then she started developing herself with digital drawing. So this canvas reappeared and she took another look at it. The original painting is not for sale because it hangs in her own home. She has a love for it because it taught her to play with colours. The feel of the colourful leaves always gives Ilona a sense of autumn. Which is one of her love periods of the year. With this, you can see a lady pictured in a dress. Ilona loves gracefulness and femininity. That can be seen in this work. It also gives her the feeling that you never know which way you will go in life. And that you can take the steps yourself. The umbrella symbolises that you also survive rain or storm during your walk, or are even armed against it. She hopes she has been able to render a beautiful metaphor for a buyer and that the painting may bring colour to sometimes more difficult periods in life.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
