This adapted version of the famous painting The Girl with the Pearl Earring by painter Johannes Vermeer, shows the girl in shades of blue. To begin with, a blue contact has lenses put in. Her clothes are also blue in colour, as is the headdress. Another detail is that her pearl is now gold coloured. The background is the blue version of Vincent van Gogh's almond flowers. The frame consists of a subtle line in the colour of the background. Art with a wink!
