About the artwork

As an artist, my aim is to reinterpret classic works of art in a modern way. My work "Girl with the Pop Art pearl" is inspired by Johannes Vermeer's famous painting, "Girl with the pearl". I chose to give a modern twist to this classic masterpiece.

The painting shows a girl, dressed in modern clothes, holding a striking pop art pearl. The colours are vibrant and intense, with strong contrasts and graphic elements. This really brings the girl and the pearl to life.

With this work, I want to preserve the beauty and timelessness of Vermeer's original painting, but also give it a fresh and contemporary look. It is a tribute to the masters of art history and at the same time a contemporary interpretation.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
