Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.

Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

In 1889 Munch started spending periods of time at the resort of Åsgårdstrand, which was popular with artists and writers. While summering there in 1893, he developed the pictorial ideas that some years later would evolve into multiple versions of Girls on the Pier.
