The artwork shows the façade of a modern residential or office building in Berlin. It is characterised by the regularly arranged glass balconies with transparent balustrades that run like a grid across the light-coloured front of the building. Some of the balconies are equipped with furniture, which lends the picture a subtle human element. In the lower area, trees with fresh greenery frame the scene and provide a natural contrast to the clear, geometric architecture.
The inspiration for this work was the visual order of urban structures and the interplay of transparency, repetition and individuality. I was particularly interested in how small differences - for example in the furnishings or use of the balconies - reveal personal traces within a strict formal language.
With this picture, I wanted to create a calm, structured atmosphere. It invites you to engage with urban life, architecture and the question of how individuality is expressed in serial construction.
In interior design, this work acts as a modern, graphic accent. It is particularly suitable for minimalist or architecture-related room concepts and brings a clear, urban structure to living or working areas - functional, but with fine details that invite discovery.
