Glen Etive is a valley in the Scottish Highlands. Glen Etive derives its name from the river Etive that rises in the northern Rannoch Moor.
Beinn Ceitlein with its peak Stob Dubh is located on the eastern side of the road and is 883 m high.
There are two hills on the northern side of Glen Etive: the Buachaille Etive Mòr and the Buachaille Etive Beag. The valley is accessible via a single track road from the A82 at Kingshouse Hotel. The road ends after about 18 km, when it reaches Loch Etive, at the mobile pier in Gualachulein. Until the 18th century the road ran to Taynuilt.
