About ‘Golden eagle, Aquila chrysaetos. Bird of prey’ by Gert Hilbink
The Golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) is one of the largest birds of prey in Europe. This picture was taken in northern Sweden where a larger population of these birds are in a protection program. The English name is Golden Eagle because of the golden color of the neck feathers.

Hello, nice that you take a look in my shop. So my name is Gert Hilbink, living in Coevorden. I have been doing photography since I was 13, inspired by a biology teacher at the then U.L.O. school in Coevorden. Generally I mainly photograph nature but actually find everything that can fly very interesting. If you have any questions about my work, it is possible to contact me via the contact page of my website GertPhotography.nl
