About ‘Golden eye’ by Patrick Nikkels

A powerful close-up of a tiger, bathed in warm, golden light. His direct gaze immediately captures the viewer’s attention and forms the heart of this image. The soft light falling across his face and coat brings out the fine details, from the long whiskers to the distinctive stripes around his eyes. At the same time, the background is deliberately kept dark and out of focus, ensuring that the tiger takes centre stage.

What particularly appeals to me about this photograph is the contrast between the animal’s imposing presence and the calm demeanour it displays at this moment. No action or movement is required; it is precisely the stillness and the direct gaze that create tension and character.

With this image, I wanted to capture the beauty, power and tranquillity of one of nature’s most impressive animals. The warm earth tones and the dark contrast give ‘Golden Gaze’ an atmospheric and timeless quality. As a result, the piece fits beautifully into an interior where nature, wildlife and warm, natural colours are given pride of place.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
