For me, this photo embodies the ultimate Tuscany feeling: warm sun on your skin, endless yellow hills and those characteristic rows of cypress trees standing like sentinels over the landscape. I took this shot in the early morning, when the first light slowly painted the field golden. What I find special about this image are the soft shadows and the subtle lines of the unpaved paths, which draw your gaze further and further into the landscape. At the very top of the hill, you can see a typical Tuscan country house looking out over the valley in peace.
My inspiration for this work comes from my love for the simplicity and tranquillity of the Italian countryside. Here, time seems to stand still and you immediately feel a little lighter. With this picture, I want to bring that atmosphere into your home: a daily escape to a place where everything is allowed to slow down. The image works beautifully in both modern and classic interiors; the warm tones and open character instantly bring atmosphere and a touch of holiday spirit.
