About ‘Golden silence over the Hopfensee’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

An evening spreads out over the tranquil Lake Hopfensee, as if it wants to stop time for a moment. The last rays of the setting sun break through the heavy clouds that hang like soft curtains over the silhouettes of the Allgäu mountains. Their light lays over the water in golden streaks, reflecting every colour with a calmness that only a late summer evening in the eastern Allgäu can produce.
On the horizon, the peaks stand out like painted shadows - calm, patient, ancient. A delicate veil of mist and light emerges between the sky and the earth, bathing the land in an almost fairytale-like atmosphere. For a moment, the world seems to consist only of muted sounds: the breath of the lake, the stillness of the hills and the warm glow of the sun as it slowly sinks behind the mountains.
In this moment, Hopfen am See becomes a place where memory and the present merge. The lake holds on to the light as if it wants to preserve it a little longer before night falls. And anyone standing here may sense how the evening carries with it a quiet promise - the promise that beauty continues to shine even in the shadows.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
