On the Dalemwal in Gorinchem you can find this corn mill "de Hoop" from 1764.
It is located along the old ramparts of the city and is of the type "Stellingmolen".
Thanks to the beautifully lit mill and the defense canon of yesteryear, this picture provides a wonderful mysterious atmosphere at dusk.
The full moon in the background also provides beautiful light here, making the entire scene fairy-tale like.
With a spotlight on this picture in a bedroom, or as a wall-filling wallpaper, I think this would be a particularly successful wall decoration. Especially if you have an affinity for this location.
When walking on the ramparts of Gorinchem you should not miss this location.
What is not visible in this picture is the second canon that is close by. For that, a visit to the Dalemwal is necessary and certainly worthwhile.
