This photo was taken from the Nieuwe Haven in Dordrecht, nicely capturing Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk, also known as Grote Kerk, during the blue hour.
This monumental cross basilica was built in the Brabant style on the remains of its Romanesque style predecessor.
The oldest part dates from 1285: the Mariakoor, a chapel north of the high choir. The tower was never finished because the foundations were too weak. This also explains the leaning of the tower.
