About ‘Grass palm in blue’ by Annemarie Wolkers-Ven

Cyanotype coloured in with watercolour. In spring, I searched locally in roadsides for suitable grasses and plants, carefully dried them between newspapers and then they became my models. The contrast between cyanotype (colourfast) and watercolour (fades) makes for a nice contrast.
The delicate coloured-in blade of grass contrasts…
