I took this photo on the Elspeterheide in the municipality of Nunspeet on the Veluwe. In the photo you see a strip of purple heather, yellow grass and 2 Scots pines. Despite the drought of 2022, there was fortunately still purple flowering heather to be found on the moors, the drought you can see on the yellow grass. I chose to output this photo in 16:9 to as the sky is not very interesting. I took this photo from a tripod and did not use any filters, in post processing I have adjusted the contrast slightly so that you can see the purple heather as the blue sky.
