The Great Maple Ground (Großer Ahornboden) lies at the head of the Rißtal valley in Austria. The landscape conservation area is accessible via a toll road from the village Hinterriß. In the valley grow numerous, 300-600 years old maple trees, the area belongs to the nature park Karwendel.
