A Green Spiny Lizard on a rock. Green Spiny Lizards are diurnal and arboreal lizards. In the early morning, they forage for insects, and then spend much of the day basking in the sun. The Green Spiny Lizard is found from Central America to the southern states of North America. Mexico in particular is a country where they are frequently found.
