The Zanddijk-Groote Kaap is a round red-painted steel lighthouse with a white light house on the North Sea coast in the dunes between Groote Keeten and Julianadorp aan Zee on the territory of the municipality of Schagen.
The original tower was built in 1966, when it replaced an exposed light stand at that location. Initially, the tower was the high light of a light line. In 1985, the low light was demolished and the high light was replaced by an almost identical tower. Since then, the tower has been a sector light.
The tower is 16.8 metres high and the light has a height of 32 metres above the middle position. On the light list, which lists all light beacons, the tower has the international number B0849 and national: 1482. Today, there are LED lights in the tower.
