Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Grouse fighting over a female’ by Bart Cox

After spending the night in a tent on a marshland covered in snow, the spectacle began. at 04.00 in the morning, the first grouse came up on their lek. Not much later, fights erupted between the birds. All this to be allowed to mate with the females around the end of April. Extraordinary experience.
