About the artwork

This photograph takes us to the picturesque Kleine Wasserbreite in the town of Bünde. It not only captures a moment of decay, but also brings the past and nature to life in its inexorable recapture of space.

The street sign "Kleine Wasserbreite" forms the starting point of our gaze. It is like a silent witness to times gone by when this street was perhaps a busy link in the city. The sign exudes a certain elegance and dignity that has not faded through the signs of time and decay.

In the background we see a white board fence surrounded by many green bushes. The fence, once a symbol of demarcation and order, has now taken on the beauty of decay. The small pillars to which it is attached bear the marks of time. Moss and plants slowly make their way upwards, as if to preserve the memories of days gone by.

The photograph exudes an atmosphere of nostalgia and rebirth. It reminds us that nature is ceaselessly reclaiming its place and that the past lives on in the details of decay. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
