In a portrait format, the flowers of the ornamental leek tower upwards with their dominant blossoms and attract everyone's attention. The individual tiny flowers, which form a single sphere, are created layer by layer. The individual blossoms are only hinted at with a brushstroke and are not recognisable. The entire blossoms have been abstracted or simplified. In the lower part of the picture, the leaves are indicated with a watercolour pencil, thus loosening up the entire work of art a little. The background is a light blue colour with rough brushstrokes.
