The Gullfoss is one of Iceland's most famous waterfalls and part of the popular Gullni Hringurinn (Golden Circle). The water of the Hvítá (White River) falls 32 meters down here in two steps . A rainbow adds colour to this winter scene; the people on the left in the background give it scale.
This "paintification" is based on a photograph that was exposed to textures and filters until an impressionistic, picturesque look emerged.
My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.
