About ‘Gullfoss viewing platform’ by Peter Heins
Gullfoss is actually a waterfall consisting of two separate falls. It plunges down a considerable distance at the lower viewing platform, and shortly afterwards the stream takes a sharp bend before flowing into the River Hvitá. You can walk to the lower viewing platform via the Sigríður Trail.

I’ve been taking photographs since 1975. I started out with a Practika for my biology dissertation. After that, I carried on with analogue photography. When digital photography came along, I started out with Olympus, but later switched back to Canon. And that’s still the case today. Via sports photography, model photography and a few weddings, I eventually ended up in landscape photography. And particularly in the northern part of North Holland.
