About the artwork

Dandelion Puffball Half - a half dandelion puffball with its seeds exposed still attached to the core of the dandelion. The dandelion parachutes are bright white and delicate looking . Its fine hair are reaching for the outside almost sparkling.

Dandelions are an amazing plant and have fascinated people for century. We have made food, medicine and wine from the dandelion plant. In those cultures where dandelions grew in abundance children have made wishes blowing on a dandelions. The reason is that the dandelion seeds can travel long distances and ensure its survival. It is no wonder that we make wishes upon the dandelion in hopes that one day our dreams come true. The flower being a beacon of hope and survival. The other day I found out that military kids use the dandelion as their symbolic flower due to its ability to thrive wherever it lands.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
