"Half a shell lying on water drops" is a macro photo of a shell found on the beach at Domburg (Zeeland, Netherlands). This cream - beige shell ( the white drilling mussel ) was photographed only for a small part. This makes the right side of the shell frame-filling and the left side shows the water drops vaguely in the background. The structure of the shell is nicely visible on the picture, which makes it feel very natural. This work has a calming atmosphere. I think this is mainly due to the calm colours and natural look. Colours: natural colours, white, beige, sand colour, soft tints, pastel, champagne colour. Subject / association: kitchen, food, food, shell, nature, macro, sea, abstract, tranquillity
This work could hang beautifully in the bedroom, dining room or just above the couch
