If you would like to hang a piece of Hamburg's historic port in your home or office, here is the solution.
For I have created a beautiful cityscape of it. The cityscape of Speicherstadt is along the Zollkanal and the streets Neuer Wandrahm, Brook and Kehrwieder. The Kornhausbrücke and Jungfernbrücke are also included in the townscape. Speicherstadt is made up of warehouses that were part of Hamburg's port. The warehouses were built between 1883 and 1927 and partially rebuilt between 1949 and 1967.
In 1991, Speicherstadt was protected under the Denkmalschutz. On 5 July 2015, Speicherstadt was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and added to the World Heritage List.
The design of the warehouses is by architect Carl Johann Christian Zimmermann and chief engineer Andreas Meyer.
To create the cityscape, I photographed the warehouses. I sometimes took as many as 10 photos'of a warehouse to get a perfect picture of the reality. I then used these buildings to compose a cityscape that mirrors the Zollkanal.
