When thick fog rolls in at Hamburg harbour, it creates a very special, heavy and muffled atmosphere.
The entire harbour is shrouded in a curtain of fog and the sounds around you almost fall silent.
Every now and then a seagull squawks.
One of the typical harbour ferries chugs past.
And here and there, small details peek out of the fog, rising up like little works of art.
