Hawk eagle is a bird from the eagle family, a large bird with a considerable wingspan of up to 65 cm.
It likes to eat small mammals and birds.
I was able to photograph this bird in Extremadura (Spain) high in the mountains against the Portuguese border.
A local Spanish photographer has a hut there and allows you to use it, for a fee of course. Remember that in no other way can you photograph these species of birds, only from a hut behind camouflage glass and without any movement. They are species that are very shy so any unexpected movement can be a disturbance that makes the bird stop showing itself.
When you have been photographing for more than 50 years, you can talk about a passion.
