The inspiration for this picture was the subtle colourfulness of this variety - not a strong contrast, but a flowing transition that radiates calm. I was interested in how this restraint could be realised photographically without losing expression. The moment of the shot was characterised by diffuse light, which brought out the soft structures of the petals particularly well.
The atmosphere I want to create with this work is calm, friendly and open. It is about perceiving nuances - both visually and emotionally.
In interior design, this picture is particularly suitable for bright, natural rooms. It introduces lightness and floral elegance without being dominant - a quiet accent that combines structure and softness.
