This exquisite painting stands out for its impressive attention to detail, especially in the context of its small format. The original is just 40 cm x 30 cm. The painting was applied to a wooden panel with oil paints, giving it a unique texture and depth.

The long blades of grass that stretch throughout the painting give it a remarkable direction and dynamism that the viewer's eye can enjoy. The central opening in this arrangement almost seems to take the shape of an eye, making the interpretation of the painting even more captivating.

Along the lower edge stretches a chain of hills lined with dense trees. The gently rolling hills lead the eye to the horizon, and you realise how much is actually happening in this small format.
