About ‘Hiking guide in the Upper Harz’ by Thomas Bugdoll

The Harz, called Hart ('mountain forest') until the Middle Ages, is a low mountain range in Germany and the highest mountain range in northern Germany. It is located at the intersection of Saxony-Anhalt , Lower Saxony and Thuringia.
The districts of Goslar and Göttingen have a share in the Harz Mountains in the west, the districts of Harz and Mansfeld-Südharz in the north and east, and the district of Nordhausen in the south. The Brocken is with 1142 m above sea level the highest mountain of the Harz and Saxony-Anhalt.

In the Harz, which is characterized by flora and fauna rich in species, there are extensive forests, partly agriculturally used plateaus, deeply cut valleys with wild river courses and waterfalls as well as dam ponds and reservoirs. In many places there is evidence of a long history of settlement. In addition, there are winter sports areas, and the Harz is a hiking area.

The Harz Mountains contain the Harz National Park, four nature parks (Harz (Lower Saxony), Harz/Saxony-Anhalt, Naturpark Harz Sachsen-Anhalt/Mansfelder Land and Südharz) and the Karst Landscape Südharz Biosphere Reserve.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
